The Komen Tarrant County Affiliate Announces 2005 Grant Recipients

2005 saw Shine Therapy receive a small grant awarded by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Tarrant County Affiliate they wrote “Our grant award process ensures the impartial allocation of funds to qualified organizations throughout our Tarrant County service area. It is with great pride that we announce our 2005 local grant recipients who received a total of $654,240 in grants”

The Amon Carter Foundation award Shine grant of $15,000.00

The Amon G. Carter Foundation plays a significant role in most major local projects and Mr. Carter's vision and financial generosity continue to impact help his community. The Amon Carter Foundation provided us with a grant of $15,000.00 to provide massage therapy to cancer patients for 2005.
