Shine Therapy is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing massage therapy, utilizing the knowledgeable skilled touch of trained therapists, to assist the vital recovery and support the wellbeing of cancer patients. We believe that massage therapy and support through discussion and education allows the patient to connect with their physical abilities, diminishes the stigma that provokes isolation, and encourages self-advocacy in the healing process.

Enduring the diagnosis of cancer, the emotional stresses affecting patient and family, adjusting to life changes in daily routine in addition to chemotherapy, radiation or surgical treatment puts enormous amounts of stress on an already burdened immune system. Cancer patients experience emotional and physical fatigue, depression, isolation, fear, and anxiety.
